Hello, all. I just received my copy of Bonnevile News and saw that there is
now an e-mail list. Thanks to the host! A little about me and my project..
I own a Sunbeam Tiger that I no longer want to race so I am building an
Alpine for Bonneville and ET bracket drag racing. It has an Art Morrison
frame, full strut front suspension, narrowed 9 inch with 2.75:1 gears, full
roadster style roll cage, twin turbo 302 ford, and AOD. The current status
is frame is welded in, roll cage is sloooowwwwly goint together, all engine
components except for TFS heads and a custom cam are in hand (well, I gotta
make the headers for the turbos yet), tranny is in hand, etc. My plan is to
run in BMS -D. I am not going to try for a class record, but simply to have
the fastest Sunbeam on the planet.
