Seems like a good product. However, I have a vacuum pump for bleeding a =
it was pulling air from the nipple when it was open and I could not be =
certain the air in the lines was fully bleed out.

This is what I use to bleed brakes and clutch lines. It's quick, safe =
and it simply pulls fluid from the bleeder nipple. No chance to spray =
brake fluid on paint. Just need to empty it once in a while.

Mirek, the recommended cap for the M.G. TC is 1109. I did call tech =
support and was told there was not a cap for the Austin-Healey even =
though the website states differently. Something interesting is tech =
support is provided by the former company owner. He bought the company =

I have attached photos of my reservoir and cap. I fabricated a cap from =
the lid of a PVC solvent can. It fits the reservoir and seals with one =

John, I have this same bleeder but the product number for the adaptor is =
not listed on my receipt. However, they can tell you which one you need =
I seem to recall that oddly they did not have an early Healey listed, =
but the cap on the reservoir is the same as my M.G. TC, and the dealer =
did have a listing for the TC, although I don=E2=80=99t see it on their =
web page. Weird. I=E2=80=99d contact their support people and ask.
=20
That said, I have never been able to get the cap on the bleeder to seal =
on the reservoir. I mentioned it to Mike Salter who had a similar =
problem. It just does not seem to screw down tight enough, although I =
can see no logical reason for it not sealing. It is on my =E2=80=9Cto =
do=E2=80=9D list (but near the bottom), to get a used reservoir and =
experiment to get a better fit.=20
=20
Lastly, I could not see how one would prevent the brake fluid in the =
tube from draining out when the cap was removed. I fitted a check valve =
in the line right above the adaptor. =20
=20
I=E2=80=99d be interested to see if other listers have had issues the =
adaptor sealing on the reservoir and how they solved it.
=20
For now, I am back to the old school method and it works fine, I just =
need to find another warm body to pump the pedal.

The adaptor above is the red cap and hose, the Girling one.
