Just to report back that I topped off with a traditional pedal bleed and
now have a perfect pedal.

I think there=E2=80=99s a lot of merit to the idea that using ezibleed can
introduce air into the system when pouring fluid into the ezibleed
reservoir.  I now don=E2=80=99t put fluid in there and just make sure I top=
 up the
main reservoir often - I think thats a better way to reduce the chance of
air getting in the fluid.

One other very nice side benefit of an old fashioned pedal bleed - you
waste much less brake fluid=E2=80=A6 and also get to spend time with your s=
on
making him do manual labor.
