Hello all, My BT7 has the original type of wiper arm that uses a leaf
spring to provide tension. I believe (and I stand to be corrected) that
the later cars used a proper spring. I have never felt the leaf spring
arrangement provided adequate pressure on the windscreen. My two questions
are: 1) what experience have other had with the early wipers (i.e., perhaps
mine just have a weak leaf spring); and 2) can the later type arms with the
spring be fitted directly to the BT7s?

Thanks in advance, Mirek
