ONE OTHER IMPORTANT FACTOR IN SMOOTH RUNNING, RELIABLE ENGINES IS=0ABALA=

 the machine shop did my original crank, they first magnafluxed=0Ait, an=
d then turned it to .020. I provided the flywheel, and front=0Apulley, a=
s well as the clutch cover and disc and they used those=0Acomponents to=
 "balance" the engine. The markings on the flywheel and=0Aclutch were us=
ed in assembly to put all correctly in balanced position=0Aand the engin=
e runs very smoothly, for a four, and sounds great. I=0Awould recommend=
 this procedure when rebuilding.=0AThink about all the weight being thro=
wn around at the rear of the=0Aengine, and just a small pulley up front.=
 Adding more mass to the=0Afront can't be a bad thing, but if you do as=
 Donald instructed, and=0Adon't rev over 4500RPMS when racing, the engin=
e will last a long time.=0AThe 100 flywheel is one serious hunk of metal=
.=0AOn the first 6-cyl. engines, Geoff Healey said if they revved it ove=
r=0A4000 they were afraid the vibration would blow apart. The went back=
 to=0AMorris Motors and the solution then was to thicken the back plate.=
 I=0Adon't know much about the engineering of rotation but the word=0A"s=
