Harold- I would purchase replacement springs from Overdrive Spares in=0A=
UK. It appears that you would want to get 4 new short springs (the're=0A=
tired), and if all 4 long look equally correct you could re-use them.=0A=
The importance being that together they "equally" put pressure on the=0A=
clutch lining to keep the car in direct drive (without slipping). Be=0As=
ure to put the shorts (inner) and long (outer) in properly or they=0Awil=
l coil bind and really not work well.=0AI don't know the spring rates, b=
ut if you get them from OD Spares,=0Athey will be the right ones for the=
job. Be sure to give them the=0Aoverdrive number on the casing for refe=
rence to get the correct set.=0AMoss has them as well as AH Spares, but=
did they come from OD Spares,=0Aor made in ...? Hank=0A=0A=09----------=

The long springs measure 4-7/16=E2=80=9D to 4-15/32=E2=80=9D and the sh=
