One more thing, the upper ball joint needs to be on the outside of the
lever above the footwell so that you can connect the return spring to the
other bellcrank's pivot on the exhaust manifold. Connecting it to the
inside like you have will not work as the spring will interfere with the
exhaust manifold and the throttle rod.
