Ira,
     Been running my Bugeye for almost twenty years with Pertronix.  I
bought my spark plug wires from Tractor Supply.  They are just copper
braided wires as original.  Also, non resistor spark plugs.  Still runs
great.  I don't think it makes a difference between top or side wire dizzy
cap.
