In my years of setting points on British cars all I ever used was a matchb=
ook cover to set the points.=C2=A0 Absolutely close enough to work just fin=
e.=C2=A0 That might horrify you guys with OCD, but I try not to overthink t=

I made sure the rear cap clip was tight, points gapwas .012, will widen to =

ol. Car idled fine at roadconstruction and stop sign stops.I hear a bit of =
a ping, running ethanol free hightest. Which direction should I turn the kn=
ob on the distributor. Iturned it towards the engine when I was trying stuf=
