I just purchased an EZ Carlift, which you can order from Holden in the UK.
It is really nicely done and super sturdy, and uses a mechanical jacking
system. I really like it, the guy who makes the lifts in Santa Barbara
also provides all sorts of options and add ons for various purposes, and
also has wall mounting kits, etc., it's a great system if you have limited
space in your garage. I particularly like the castor option which you can
move your car around your garage easily.... it really works. US made and
beautifully engineered.
