No but I am diligent about blocking and reporting spam. When you get a spam
email, at least for Outlook do the following:
Click on File > properties, and then copy the "internet headers". Forward the
email to "abuse@whatever.com or net" your email provider is, and paste the
internet headers information into the body of the email. The ISP will then
block that person. I have pasted the information from the email you sent the
list:
Return-Path: <healeys-bounces@autox.team.net>
Authentication-Results: mta4040.sbc.mail.ne1.yahoo.com;
spf=pass smtp.mailfrom=@autox.team.net;
dmarc=fail(p=none sp=NULL dis=none) header.from=comcast.net;
Received-SPF: pass (domain of autox.team.net designates 50.198.190.17 as
permitted sender)

Subject: [Healeys] [OT] Spam
Anybody else being deluged with spam emails? I mean, I've always gotten a few
now and then, but for the last several weeks I'm getting a couple dozen a day,
and Comcast's servers' spam filters only flag emails from lists and forums I've
subscribed to for years. The spammers have gotten cleverer, using different
domains so you can't even create effective filters. Some emails are from
(apparently) legit businesses, but they are clearly violating the CAN-SPAM act;
maybe they think the gov't is too busy paying itself $1T in bonuses to enforce
any laws?
Or am I just lucky?
Bob
