It appears as though the float gets hung or stuck in the up position causin=
g a full reading. I would first try bouncing the rear end vigorously. Seco=
nd try a few "aggressive" starts and stops to free the float. Beyond that s=
eems your only resort is to pull the assembly and inspect for hang up.
