Changed out my cracked 100 BN2 head for a Denis Welch standard aluminium he=
ad. Used their steel gasket. Just bolted it on and adjusted the tappets. Ho=
wever I had very recently rebuilt my H4 carbs and it wasn't running well , =
so I ended up retuning these as well. Apparently Denis Welch use 3000 valve=
s in their 100 head which are slightly larger so I wonder if this also mean=
s that carbs have to be retuned. I'm still on standard needles and springs =
. Running very nicely now,=C2=A0 although tends to minor stuttering when co=
ld which disappears completely when warm.
