Listers, The 100-6/3000 factory workshop manual I have doesn't give the voltage limits for the voltage regulator in the RB106/2 control box. It does give the limits for the later RB340. The 100 workshop manual does have the settings for the RB106/2. Ambient Temperature RB106/2 RB340 10 degC (50 degF) 16.1 to 16.7vdc 14.9 to 15.5 vdc 20 degC (68 degF) 15.8 to 16.4 14.7 to 15.3 30 degC (86 degF) 15.6 to 16.2 14.5 to 15.1 40 degC (104 degF) 15.3 to 15.9 143.3 to 14.9 The Lucas Workshop instructions for the RB106/2 state that the range is 16.0 to 16.5 volts. Why the large difference between the two control boxes? Is the 16.0 to 16.5 vdc still appropriate today? Currently using a flooded cell battery. Have used an Optima AGM in the past.
