At one time many years ago I seem to remember a gear available that was =
made for the 4 and 6 cylinder Healey Motors. They had two timing marks =
on them.

Subject: [Healeys] Camgear identification
Sent this before. Perhaps the attachments were too big. Smaller now, =
though hopefully adequate=E2=80=A6..
=20
I=E2=80=99ve a question for the engine experts. Attached are 3 pics.
=E2=80=9CCamgear 1=E2=80=9D & =E2=80=9CCamgear 2=E2=80=9D show the =
camgear that I removed from my MkII BT7 last night. A friend who was =
helping me setup a Vernier pointed out that it did not look original. He =
said it was a =E2=80=9Clightened steel=E2=80=9D wheel. Note the =
=E2=80=9C4=E2=80=9D & =E2=80=9C6=E2=80=9D stampings, also the 6 holes =
and the general appearance of being better quality than you=E2=80=99d =
expect.
=E2=80=9COriginal Type AH=E2=80=9D, lifted off a supplier=E2=80=99s =
website, shows what I think is the original type for my car.
So, does anyone recognize mine?=20
I don=E2=80=99t think it=E2=80=99s an original that=E2=80=99s been =
modified but I can=E2=80=99t be sure.
I spoke to Denis Welch=E2=80=A6not one of theirs. I couldn=E2=80=99t =
find it at AHSpares or SC Parts.
It=E2=80=99s a decent looking thing & in good order. Pity to chuck it =
into the attic, never to be seen again. It=E2=80=99s been in the car =
during my tenure, say 25 years. Don=E2=80=99t know about previous to =
that.
Simon
