As work progresses in a new shop, we=E2=80=99ve discovered that the=
front=20
end of my 100 was damaged much worse than we thought (now I know why the=20
car had no front splash pan!) And I probably made matters worse by selling=
=20
the original grille=E2=80=94but it was minus a couple of teeth, so undoubte=
dly=20
bent=E2=80=94and keeping a flea-market replacement.
The replacement is also bent=E2=80=94not realized when I bought it.=
The=20
front of the shroud was pushed in at the right front=E2=80=94maybe from acc=
ident,=20
maybe from being moved around in the prior shop for years=E2=80=94and we ne=
ed a=20
properly shaped grille to shape the nose to (how I wish Moss had the repair=
=20
panel for that!)
Photos of the grill are attached. In particular, is the top of the=
=20
grille supposed to be one continuous forward curve from side to side, or=20
does it curve toward the rear at the top center? With the slats removed=20
there should be no problem straightening it=E2=80=94but to what shape?
=20
Thanks in advance,
