Thank you everyone for the feedback on valve clearances. Quite eclectic =
reading.
Consensus seems to be to go with Welch=E2=80=99s 0.015=E2=80=9D, cold, =
which makes sense.
One of my unspoken queries was as to the physical difference between the =
result on valves that have been setup hot or cold which Bob has answered =
below.
Next is to have another go with my Clik-adjust thing. By the time =
I=E2=80=99ve worked how to use it =E2=80=93 I find the instructions a =
bit glib =E2=80=93 I could probably do it the normal way.

I've set valve lash cold, then checked them warm and not seen an =
appreciable difference.
On another note, I'm a convert on the "set the gap per the cam builder's =
specs." Next job for the BJ8: set valve lash to 0.015" per DWR spec.
