Not sure about Odyssey but Optima does not make a 12 volt battery that fits in
the trays for a BN1/BN2/ BN6 or BN7.

Just get two 12V gel batteries and hook them up in "parallel".

They don't leak and hold a charge for a long time.

Try Optima or Odyssey brands.

The last time I was in St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands, they still drove on the
left hand side of the road and the rental cars were left had drive. It was
always a challenge diving a rental and had to realy think about it at
intersections and especially roundabouts. I'm not sure about the other U.S.
Virgin Islands, St Croix and St. John. I would imagine they are the same along
with the British Virgin Islands.

Before WWII, and some even after, many if not most French cars were
RHD because they thaught it safer to enter/exit the car on the kerb side.
They have driven on the right side of the road at least since Napoleontic
times.

In the case of purpose built road racing?cars like Bugatti, Ferrari &
even Chapparal (to name only a few), it is my understanding that most
were built as RH drive because the majority of the road racing tracks
were run clockwise & RH drive placed the driver on the inside of the
majority of the turns. The driver's weigh on the inside of the turn
helps reduce roll & also makes it easier for the driver to precisely
clip the apex. Coincidently, RH drive also places the driver closer
to the photographer on the majority of turns, if the photographer is
on the inside of the track.

No actual research was conducted during the preparation of this.

Hello

?

Yes that is correct there are more people in countries that
drive on the right. However it reminds me of a Margaret Thatcher
quote:-

?

?If it is once again one against forty-eight, then I am very
sorry for the forty-eight.?

?

Interestingly all period Bugattis made and Ferrari competition
sports cars of the ?40s, ?50s and ?60s were RHD.

?

Also far more relevant is that 92% of all Austin-Healeys were
made in LHD but only require about a week?s work to convert.

Ditto. It's the back bolt of the heater valve. There should also be a
similar clip but with a larger hole that goes under the exposed nut on the
rear head stud.

Anyone have a source for 6V batteries suitable for use in 100s (i.e.
that will fit in the stock battery tray and bracket)?? I'm currently
using a couple Interstate batteries, and Interstates are now made in
Mexico with attendant quality issues.
