You have to brake the pin off, that?s the only way to get it apart. Just twist
it till the pin brakes, then screw it apart, the parts are threaded. The
threads will be a little damaged, but not more than that they can be used
again. Don?t bother to replace the pin, you can use some thread locker instead.
But as someone said, if it ain?t broke.....
