Thanks Scott, I only met Dennis a few times. Once he helped me out when at
the last minute, while replacing the clutch on my BT7, I found I needed that
bush that inserts in the flywheel and carries the end of the first motion
shaft. The British Leyland dealers seemed to be out of them, but Dennis had
one and Gwen and I drove from Kitchener out to his shop to get it, and I was
Healeying again the next day. He was full of enthusiasm and showed Gwen and I
all the neat stuff around his shop. I also recall on another occasion seeing
that ex-Sebring Healey which was in his possession for a short while.

Dennis Prophet April 21, 1930 - November 29, 2017
Peacefully, surrounded by his family at his home in Keswick on Wednesday,
November 29th, 2017 at the age of 88 years.
Dennis, beloved husband of Beverley Prophet (nee Bassett) of Keswick. Loving
father of Howard Prophet (Maryann), Louis Prophet (Joy), and Melanie Prophet
(Darren Vanderburgh) all of Keswick and Sharon McArthur of Smith Falls.
Cherished grandfather to Luben, Meleana, Ava, and Mya and great-grandfather of
Sophia. Dear brother of Peggy Prophet of Cornwall, England and of the late
Gerald and David.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Dennis?s home on Saturday, December
9th, 2017 between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. For more information regarding the
gathering please contact Darren Vanderburgh at 905-830-2280.
In memory of Dennis, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
