Before getting my BN4 badge restored at Pamela David's, I bought a Repro fro=
m one of the usual suppliers. Within a year parts of the red glass inlay had=
fallen out revealing shiny chrome plate beneath. No wonder there was no ad=
hesion. On the originals the glass inlay is laid onto copper plating that ha=
sn't been polished. That not only improves the grip but also contributes to t=
he colour. Chrome plating and polishing happens after the glass is flowed in=
and levelled at PDE as it should be.
