The car had all of the features of a Phase 1 BJ8, including the =
interior, and was advertised as a BJ8 with VIN HBJ8L25366 but photos of =
the VIN and body plates showed they were original-issue factory plates =
for a BJ7.
The plates were installed on the wrong car either intentionally, for =
whatever reason, or by someone who knows nothing about the cars. The =
point was, the dealer didn't think the wrong plates were a big deal, =
especially since the car wasn't "important".

Am I missing something here? Its pretty obvious that a a Bj8 doesn't =
look like a BJ7. Did the car have a BJ8 interior or was it really a BJ7?
