Coat the exposed side of the cork gasket with wheel bearing grease. I don't=
know why it works but I have done this it works. This assumes that your ch=
rome valve cover isn't warped.=C2=A0

Hi all,=20
Six months ago I replaced the OE rocker/valve cover with one of the chrome =
type. I used a new cork gasket, which was fixed to the cover using some gas=
ket sealant. I did not use any gasket sealant between the cork gasket and t=
he head.
Today I noticed oil leaking from the rear, right-hand side between the cove=
r and the head. Any ideas on how to get a oil tight seal between the gasket=
and the head?
