Hi Ira, I have always found that the coil spring works well but have never =
tried the other type.
I use the same spring as the throttle return springs BUT it is necessary to=
make linking wires which are long enough to ensure that the springs are o=
nly extended about 1/4" from their natural length with the chokes fully off=
.
