Hi Dave, can't help with regarding recommended repairers but I would strong=
ly recommend that you try to find someone who will do the repairs using a M=
IG or TIG welding system as the fluxes used with gas welding are almost imp=
ossible to remove and any remaining in the worked areas will cause problems=
 forever!!

Subject: [Healeys] Shroud repair

Hi All,

I have removed both the front and rear shrouds from my BJ8 while doing some=
restoration work. While I am able to do fairly well welding and shaping st=
eel panels, I am not experienced with the aluminum. Both shrouds have some =
stress cracks and other damage that needs someone who is experienced with a=
luminum body panel welding and shaping.=20

I live in North central Massachusetts. I would like to find someone within =
driving distance that I could bring my shrouds for repair. I know of one sh=
op called Panel Craft up in Bethlehem, NH. That is about 2.5 hours each dir=
ection. I am considering them, but wanted to check with the list. Does anyo=
ne have a recommendation for Healey shroud repair?

Thanks much!

Dave
