Hi,=20
I=E2=80=99m losing a little coolant =E2=80=93 say 1 pint per 200 miles =E2=
=80=93 from a pair of core plugs. (The two rear ones under the manifolds).=
=20
No way to access them from above and I very much doubt if it can be done fr=
om below though I haven=E2=80=99t looked. I=E2=80=99ve got Webers and a big=
bore 6 branch so there=E2=80=99s not much room.=20
OK, I=E2=80=99ll have to strip out the Webers and drop the exhaust; that=E2=
=80=99s a given. And, at the same time, I can do a few other little things.=
=20
BUT, but....I don=E2=80=99t want to do it now. Not just when what we optimi=
stically call our summer is just beginning.=20
I hope to keep an eye on the loss and last it out until autumn. (Usually su=
mmer starts in June and autumn starts about a week later so I may not have =
much time).=20
I was thinking of putting some Radweld or similar magic goo into the coolan=
t. I know it=E2=80=99s fairly effective in radiators.....might it work on t=
he core plugs?=20
