https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UEwk_sYP6A8 I googled the use of Corn Husker gear box grease and found many positive comments on the use in Ag gear boxes to leakage from seals similar to our problems our old cars. The key features are that it is thixotropic and polymeric so that it becomes less of a grease and more of a thick fluid. It is not heat that makes it fluid as when you mix bearing grease with gear lube a classic method of thickening gear lube to stop leaks.
