I believe it started when a person with the initials of bs (who will =
remain nameless to protect them) forwarded a reply to my post concerning =
Starter Motor Resistance with an =E2=80=9Canecdote=E2=80=9D about =
batteries.

BTW, I have an Intimidator battery made by East Penn Manufacturing. =
=E2=80=9CMade in the U.S.A.=E2=80=9D is printed on the battery. Very =
happy with it but they are not cheap.

I'm really not sure where this conversation originated or why it is =
important but in any case a quick search shows that Odyssey, Deka and =
Braille batteries are made in the US. Perhaps there are more.
