K & N does not make a filter for the 2=E2=80=9D HD8 carbs. They do make =
a filter that has a blank plate that can be made to fit your carb. So =
then you could make an off set mounting plate.

Subject: [Healeys] K&N AIRFILTERS
Hello list,
=20
I am considering to replace the std. airfilters by K&N airfiters. Would =
like to know the experience of the forum on this.
I drive a 1964 A-H 3000 BJ8 phase 2 with HD8 carbs. It was told to me =
that the std . K&N would not fit because insuffient space under the =
bonnet.
I was advised to look for conic ones. Is this correct? Checked the =
internet ,but cannot find them.
Would appreciate any comment in this matter.
=20
Regards,
Ge Aagten
The Netherlands
