Sears sells decent torque wrenches; last time I bought one it was in the $70 
range (presume we're talking the 'clicker' type; beam wrenches are typically 
cheaper). We had one calibrated and it was spot on. 

Can't help on the stud dimensions.

In that vein, what is the coarse thread size for the head Studs on the four 
cylinder model so I can buy a thread chaser tap.
