As part of my total restoration of my 1962 BT7 Tri-carb the rear axle has been completely stripped. All individual parts cleaned, refurbished and painted etc ready for re-assembly. Question is how far is it better / easier to take the re-assembly with the axle off the car as opposed to having it located / secured in-place?
