[Healeys] top on BJ7 attachment

I am placing a new canvas top on a BJ7. The previous top has long since rotted
away. There is a canvas flap by the rear of the top, above where the rear
window attaches to the rear rib. The clips, seem to be only on earlier Bj7s.
My question is: Is the flap attached to the rear rib, or does it just flip
over the top of the rear plastic window? Thanks in advance for your answers.
