Thank you all for your advice. A lot of it and quite a variety.

Have gone for door mounted convex mirrors direct from Tex Automotive, the
latter being a good steer from Bob. They have a fairly clunky site. (No
prices). But they are helpful on the phone and do sell direct to the public.
Cheaper than through their retailers, which often isn't the case.

They also sell decent wiper blades and arms.
