My son's Cherokee had a 'clunk' in the front end, usually going over a ramp or bump. All suspension points were solid--and it had me stumped for a while--but eventually discovered the motor mounts were shot. Something to consider. Would I be able to hear the clunk by pushing down on the fenders? Congratulations on your Heavenly Ski mileage.
