That is absolute bullshit. Electricity travels with the speed of light,
around 200.000mls/s. If you have carbon core resistor wires it is
preferable but not necessary that the wires are of equal length because
the resistance of each wire will be the same although it is not
critical. With copper core wires without measurable resistance there is
no reason why they should be of equal length.
