[Healeys] BJ8 driver seat repositioning

Hi folks. Quick question for those who have moved their BJ8 driver seat back
for added leg room. How far back can one move the seat slides before the
seat back hits the rear seat shelf?  A max ball park inches would do it for
me. I don't have the seats now to actually put them in the car and test and
want to put in the muffler system and heat shield along with the tracks.
