Hi Guys, I'm doing some research into BN1 #45. While car is now here in
Australia, it came from America in 1989, purchased from Mark Campbell
from Campbell's Classics in Austin Texas. As found there it was stripped
down to bare chassis and bulkhead assembly, with only front and back
suspension remaining, everything else was missing. Everything was
painted in red oxide primer including suspension and brakes. The car had
relatively minor rust. It is fitted with the early style Alfin brake
drums with circular fins on all 4 wheels. The heritage certificate
doesn't nominate a build date, originally the car was Healey grey with
blue trim. Body number is JM4222-45 chassis 138987. Any information
appreciated.
Cheers
Larry Varley
