I asked this on other forums and the answers were inconstant. I was wondering if I could use a kitchen vacuum sealer to seal spare rubber parts (hoses, wheel cylinders and other parts) to preserve them against aging and decay? Someone said gases would be given off regardless of vacuum not doing anything for preservation. I think it would be good even if it only slowed it down. Any thoughts? Rich Kahn |
