Why is this right angle adaptor for the bn1/bn2 so expensive? $220 vs $49
for the 6 cyl version. (Moss prices)
Also since there is no difference in
speedo pinion assembly on the OD for a BN2 vs BN4 or BN6, then what is the
difference between these angle adaptors? Or can a 6 cyl adaptor be used on a
BN2?
I have 2 of these and will probably attempt a rebuild. Let me know what
you discovered, Bob.

[Healeys] Thanks was: Looking for Wire Wheels
While we're on the topic of
the kindness and generosity of the List members, I'd like to thank the Lister
who gave me a used BN(X) speedometer angle adapter a few years ago
(unfortunately, I don't remember who it was). We were able to cobble together
a working unit from one we had and parts from that donor. I think this is a
$200+ part new.
Anyone wants to know the 'secrets' of these things give me a
holler.

Just wanted to say "publicly" thanks for the
offers regarding my quest for
some used wire wheels. A dozen folks offered
what they had. Special thanks to
Paul from just south of Rochester NY. He
drove nearly three hours one way on a
very rainy day to meet me better than
half way between his place and mine.
Nice to shake hands with another one of
the Healey listers.
Thanks to all
Aloha
Perry
