Isn't the right rear farther away from the M/C than the left rear in a LHD
car?

When bleeding brakes always work from the longest distance to the
shortest distance from the master cylinder. On all the Healeys you
would do left rear, right rear, left front, right front. No reason
to start at the master unless you are installing a new master cylinder.
