Oh crap! I guess that makes me old too, 'cause I was 7 years old in the summer of 1960. However, no regrets as I was getting fairly regular rides in "unca Don's" Jaguar XK120. Remembering his quotes in the open air at speed, "Hang on to that grab handle 'cause here comes another twisty road", or "we'll flash our headlights at that Sprite AFTER he flashes at us", or "How fast do you think we're going, 'cause the speedo is off again? ". Rich Chris wrote: Hey guys. The reality remains the same. I wasn't born in 1960. So by definition, I'm not an old guy. Just leave the line at 1960. Ok? For at least the next 20 years or so. All agreed? Old blokes were born BEFORE 1960. All agreed. Passed. Chris Born May 1961 PS love this stuff!!! I thought I was old!! Now I'm not. I'm just experienced in Healey matters!!! |
