Hi Niels -
This is a very common problem. Note that you should ALWAYS put the banjo
bolt on the pedestal BEFORE installing the rocker on the head. The banjo
bolt and oil feed coupling should always be attached to the rocker pedestal
first, then mounted to the head. If the rocker is already on the head, you
still need to bolt the banjo bolt first before screwing the feed tube to the
head. Inevitably most everyone does it the other way and they either strip
the threads out of the pedestal (VERY common) or you have this problem as in
your pictures.
It's great you reported back to the list and is a good reminder to always
make sure this is assembled right.
