As far as I can determine, ALL of the usual sources for Healey parts sell the
cheap timing chains ($10.00) with the "County" label. Another common brand
is/was Rolon made in India also selling for about $10.
Because I race my Healey I use Renold timing chains. They are made in France
and they are the best. 6 cylinder Healeys use the same chain as TR6s, so I buy
my Renold timing chains from The Roadster Factory (a big source for Triumph
parts). They cost about $54.00. I believe that Renold invented the roller
chain about a zillion years ago. Also, the timing chain tensioners in the 6
cylinder engines say Renold on them so they were OEM in the 50s and 60s.
