With so many Healeys appearing I will add to the list. My BT7 Mk2 is on
the road this spring. It is approaching 1500 miles now with no serious
problems. It's maiden voyage was to Fargo, North Dakota for our LBC
Rendezvous on June 16th. It is a ground up restoration, painted Healey
Golden Beige with dark red upholstery. I know this was not a proper
colour for a 1962 car but I like it. I owe thanks to countless list
members who solved many of my problems, (well, they would have been
problems without the list), and thanks to those of you whom I have
talked to about this problem or that. Special thanks to Jean Caron for
his hands on help. I bought the Healey in 1987 and it laid in pieces
and boxes for years before I got on with it. Sure glad I did, it is
great fun. Tomorrow is shop day so I will be working on things all day,
the yard and garden must wait. There is a picture on our AHCM website.
Happy motoring to all
Graeme Lowden
