Mark,
the aftermarket rear ones are acceptable, but the aftermarket front ones are
MG B with the raised dome, which do not fit under the front inner wing without
modifications.
So to keep the front inner wing in good shape, there is only one choice - to
recondition the original ones.

Subject: Re: [Healeys] shock links rebuild?
Why rebuild. My aftermarket units work fine. The cost was acceptable.
I would think rebuilt units would be the same quality as after market and
sounds like the after market are less expense for the same quality.
I don't ever remember shopping around for rebuilt shock links and I've been
doing this hobby for a long time.
Whats the point, what am I missing here?
Mark
