I'm putting a redi-sleeve over the rear axle shaft where the oil seal rides, and the instructions say to use a non-hardening sealant inside the sleeve before sliding it over the shaft. I thought of using Hylomar, but I thought I'd heard somewhere that people used lock-tite in this application. What does the collective wisdom of the list say?
