[Healeys] steering gear

thanks to the guys who suggested heating the tube.  bought a bottle of MAPGAS 
and heated it about 30 seconds or so and pulled the tube into the correct 
postion, line-boring it with the MOD 1 eyeball.  inserted the steering shaft 
and viola!, no more binding.   hjim
