Gero,
I have one, use a switch under the dash and consider these better than a
manual choke for cold starting. I was a non-believer but after years of use
I love it. You must have car vin close to mine like HBT7L32xx (they started
at car #2194)

Check the Jaguar sources (e.g. XKs Unlimited) -- Jag used exactly the same
auxiliary carb on the Mk2s and E-Types as was used on the Healeys for that
short period in 1959.
