Rick: I didn't get into the voltage, resistance, calibrate phase of
adjusting my fuel sender/gauge readings. I just bent the float arm until I
had a very close approximation on the 'empty' end of the scale. The only
thing that was important to me was to know when I would run out of gasoline
(before it happened, Ed). As insurance, if in doubt, I also carry a dip
stick in the trunk.
