The only way to seal it is to weld it with a bit of another float or the
same material. This sort of plastic is practically impossible to glue or
seal. Anyway it is not worth the trouble as they are cheap to get items
as they are used in many EU cars right up to the 90's, Mini, Renault,
Rover, Landrover, Citroen etc..
